Last post of pictures. Good night.

Pictures of Cale

Alright, this is the last post for the night, this mama needs to get in bed. I wanted to leave you with some more pictures of our sweet Cale who will be 5 months on Saturday! Can you believe it-5 months. He's more fun by the day. We are starting him on a new bedtime routine and last week was a little rough, but now he is going down without a fight. Now to get rid of the feeding in the middle of the night-I know if will happen soon! (hopefully). We think he might be cutting a tooth, but are not sure-never felt for a tooth before so we don't know what to expect. We'll keep you posted.

Here's some pictures. I am still working on videos-I have no idea how to do it, so I will get with Jeff sometime soon to post some videos of little man.

Cale has started sitting in his high chair with us while we eat dinner.

DISHWASHER

We got a dishwasher and it's coming next week. Can we tell you how excited Jeff and I are to not have to wash dishes anymore! This will save us 20-30 minutes daily and our hands from getting overly dry :) Can't wait!

Like Moses

So one of the positions mentioned in a previous post is no longer an option and the other I made it to the 2nd round of interviews which will take place on Wednesday (please pray if you could). Since my last post I have been pretty stressed out inwardly. I know God is in control, but this whole waiting process is not easy. I was talking with one of our security officers at work today about my work situation and he reminded me of Moses. It's amazing how sometimes people appear in your life at the exact moment you need some encouragement. Looking back at some of the things that Moses went through-his faith was amazing and God always provided an answer, maybe not in the timing the Isrealites wanted or Moses-but He freed them and parted the Red Sea as just one of the examples. I can't even put my mind around that-He parted an actual sea and saved the Isrealites from Pharoah. My red sea right now is this whole job and the search process. Do I trust that like God parted the sea and provided for the Isrealites, that He will do the same for me-I think that sometimes I do and other days I get so discouraged and feel trapped and that I will not find a way out or a way to the other side. But I was encouraged by the security officer today that just like in Mose's life, God will provide-maybe not in my timing or as soon as I want (like yesterday), or even how I want, but if he can move a sea, then I know He will move me in the direction where I need to be. I just have to keep trusting. So that's where I'm at tonight, trusting, praying, and believing that God loves me (as He loves all of His children) and that He has not left me, but is walking with me daily and an answer will come on this job front.

GO CARDINALS!

It's season opening day for the St. Louis Cardinals and Cale had to celebrate by wearing some Cardinal's gear-Go Cards! It's crazy that it is snowing and cold in April. Thanks to Cheryl for the adorable outfit!

This weekend

This weekend was a busy one filled with time with family. We got to visit with Brandi's grandparents on Friday and Brandi and Cale helped with a baby shower for her cousin Laura on Saturday. Then on Sunday we visited with Jeff's family. We had a great time! Here are some pictures from this weekend.

here are some pictures of Cale :)

Here's our little man at 4 months! Love, love, love this boy!
We've got some new pictures of Cale in one of his new onesies that Jeff's cousin Elizabeth made for him. I will post them sometime today when I get a chance-I promise!

4 months

Cale turned 4 months old yesterday! The time sure is going quickly. Many people told us the time would go quickly with a kid and boy it sure does. To our little man, the joy in our life-I've been wanting to start a journal for him for a long time and write letters to him that he can read later in life. I have yet to sit down and do that, it's been on my mind and I will do it soon, but I just wanted to send him a little message now.
Our sweet baby boy Cale,
I cannot even begin to tell you the joy you have brought to our lives since your entrance into this world on December 2. I will admit that the first 2 months weren't easy just learning how to do this thing called being a mom and dad and learning how to take care of you-what your cries meant (although I can't say we have this one mastered yet), and making sure you are provided for. It's a continual growing and learning process for your dad and me, but it has been an amazing, tiring, joyous, happy, sometimes sad (from being over tired), tears of joy, cuddling, dancing and singing, giggling, talking, smiling, crying, sleeping, bouncing, walking, loving, heart feeling, love growing experience so far and can only imagine that our love for you will continue to grow. I can't even put in words the love my heart has for you-I just feel like it's going to burst sometimes with the feelings of love insdie, the joy getting off work to see you everyday, how I love your smiles and don't want to put you down when you are asleep in my arms. You are only at the beginning of life my sweet boy. It is so neat to watch you right now as you are holding your head up and sitting up with only a little assist. You are experiencing the world around you right now-you are reaching for things around you-you know they are there, you are grabbing things, and you love to just look around and explore the world before you. I look forward to loving you more and more, seeing you develop with talking, crawling, and walking. I look forward to teaching you about Jesus and how much God loves you, seeing what your interests are, watching you meet new friends, seeing you learn and soak in the world around you as your senses continue to develop, continuing to hold you tight, hearing your first words, growing as a parent as you continue to grow as a child. There is so much I am thankful for when I think of you-your dad and I continue to pray for you and for your future and praise him for this blessing. We love you Cale, always will, just writing this right now brings tears to my eyes-tears of joy, peace, and blessing. You've changed our lives for the better-made us re-examine our priorities, realize how important family is, and opened our hearts to just how much love a mother and father can experience with a little one. We will continue to pray for you, love you, teach you and help you grow as we juggle through this journey of life together!
