Creativity

Cale is so creative and his imagination is amazing!  This summer he took a robotic lego class and on the last day he got to present to all the parents his favorite creation and made it actually work.  Pride for that kiddo is an understatement.  It was so cool to watch.  He just got right up there, no nerves and just did it.  He has such an amazing imagination and loves to create.  Lately, he has been writing books, like 10 page books and writing his own sentences for them.  They are illustrated and right now seem to be about sea creatures, but it's so cool to see!  I love how creative he is.

Aiden turns 4

Aiden's name means Fiery and that is sure what he is.  And we wouldn't have it any other way.  He has amounts of energy like I have never seen before.  He goes all day strong no matter what.  He is cute and feisty, opinionated and snugly.  Love him to pieces.  For his birthday we just did a simple party at Kirkwood Park with pizza, cake, water ballons and playing in the fountain.  Aiden had a great time!

Summer was a whirl!

This summer was a complete whirl!  It was super fun with lots of great memories!
We had a reunion at Kirkwood Park with some of Cale's preschool friends, it was super fun!
Jeff and I got to go on a date night to a Paint Nite.  It was super nerve wracking for me because I am not super artistic.  I was a little tense to be honest the whole night, but it was super fun to hang out and take home some art work!
Cale and Aiden took a soccer class at Kirkwood Park.  The amount of rain we had this summer was unbelievable, especially in June.  About half of the entire soccer camp got rained out.  Aiden really enjoyed Coach Dani.  She was awesome!
Got to go to Todd Worrell bobble head night at the River City Rascals game and the kiddos enjoyed that!
We went to Circus Flora with our good friends Sarah, Steve and Mason and ran into Andy and Liz there.
We enjoyed a fund day at Botanical Gardens with Aunt Stef.
Cale and Aiden got their green belts in Tae Kwon Do at the end of June and soon after decided they wanted to take a break so we stopped it at the end of July.  Aiden is getting ready to start a ninja gymnastic class in October and he is beyond excited about that!
Jeff worked at Fair St. Louis so the kiddos and I took the metrolink on July 4th to Forest Park and we watched the fireworks there.  It was amazing!
We got to watch Jeff perform at the local libraries and the kids loved being called up on stage!
SIX FLAGS!!!  We took the kiddos here on my birthday.  They had never been and absolutely loved it.  I think we will get season passes next year!
Trips to the lakehouse happened on multiple occasions. Played mini golf with kids and they loved that!
My best friend Erin had an awesome 1st birthday party for her son Luke at the end of July.  We were so glad we got to hang with good friends and had a blast!
Got to hang out with Dale and Diane and build lincoln logs.
We went to the zoo a few times.
On July 29, we went peach picking with Kristi, gaga and Aunt Stef.  It was super hot, but honestly some of the best peaches we have ever had!
Cale and Aiden have become obsessed with Pokemon the past 6 months.  We got them binders to organize their cards and they are super excited about that!
We hung out with Darnisha at the beginning of August and love our time with her!
Had a facials night with Aunt Stef where we did facials with the kids.  It was hilarious!
