Juggling Our Way Through Life: June 2013

School's out for summer!

Cale finished his last day of pre-school on May 23. He has learned so much this year! His teachers even put a binder together of his whole year with pictures and projects that he had done throughout the year. It was so neat to see even his development in that he how he grew physically and how he grew in what he could do. Here's a few of the things he learned to do this year:
He learned how to:
hold a pencil, marker, etc correctly
how to spell his name
not only to count, but can recognize all the numbers now
draw actual figures with heads, arms, bodies when he draws now

He met some great friends and really blossomed socially as well. He has a sweet heart, makes new friends easily and had a fun year all around with his class and schoolmates. We are looking forward to another great year this next school year!

Gymboree

When Cale was around 2 we took him to Gymboree in Webster Groves and he loved it. We wanted to give Aiden a chance to go too so I enrolled him in their class and he is having a blast! They have a structured class with a theme each time. The kids can go along with the structure or do what they want, that's what I love. A lot of the time Aiden gets involved, but then here are many times in the class where he wants to just do his own thing so he does. Cale is such a trooper he hangs out and watched the class and plays I pad. He gets to start a special sports class soon so that will be his special time! And Linda, the teacher, is always so sweet and let's Cale come in for about 10 minutes after class to play. He always gets so excited. We've been a little spoiled too. We have gone 4 times and we have had the pleasure of having Aunt Stef join us the 1st week, GiGi join us last week, and GaGa came with us this week. It's been so fun having them along!
