Suprise Party

First I have to start out by saying my husband is amazing and loves me well! I am so blessed to have him in my life. He threw me a huge surprise party last night for my 30th birthday next Tuesday. Here is how the story went:
I have a women's group that meets on Wednesday nights. Last Wednesday, one of my friends, Jen, asked if we could go to hear an author speak next (last night)Wednesday named Elizabeth George. We all agreed.
So I arrived at Jen's house last night to go to hear this author speak at the Kirkwood Community Center. She drove us there and the rest of the girls from my group were going to meet us there. When we arrived, we walked inside and it said on the board "Elizabeth George room 200". So we went upstairs to the room and went inside.
I looked around and thought it kind of odd that some other friends from church were sitting in the front row, but then I thought-they were just here to see the author too. Then everyone started clapping. (I thought they were clapping because we were a little late and sometimes people will clap if you are late to embarrass you).
Then I looked up and saw friends and family from all walks of my life and a girl that works there said "And here is Elizabeth George" and pointed to me. After looking around, I realized that I was Elizabeth George and that we were not there to hear her talk, but there for a 30th party for me. Let's just say I was in shock for the next 1/2 hour. I felt so loved to have dear friends and family there to celebrate with me! What an awesome night-and the fact that Jeff pulled it off (with the great help of friends and family) and I had no idea was awesome! There was food and cake and great conversation. I am so blessed. Cale even had a blast and didn't go to bed until 10:00pm that night-he did great! He had so much fun with Addie-Jeff's friend Craig's daughter! Thanks to everyone who came out and made my night so special. God is so good in providing all of you in my life! Here's who all came (this is more for me so I can remember this night forever!)

WOW! I am amazed and in awe of how loved I felt last night and praise God for my friends and family!
