Aiden's 3rd birthday

Aiden turned 3 on June 21.  Man we love and adore this kid.  He is funny, knows he's cute, knows what he wants, wants to be super independent and do stuff on his own, and is wild, especially when he's with his brother.  For his third birthday, he wanted a Frozen theme.  He loves that movie so we did a few balloons and got plates and napkins and did pizza and cake with close family.  Aiden had a great time and got some awesome gifts.  He got some great toys and some really cool dinosaur pictures drawn/painted by Kristi and my cousin Michelle.  Totally cool gifts!  I must say that since he turned 3 though, some little switch has flipped.  He is definitely having more tantrums the last few weeks if he doesn't get his way.  Watch out too.  Whew, he knows how to throw a fit, that is for sure.  He is still sweet though and sometimes still wants to snuggle, although not as often and has a smile that just melts your heart.  And his laugh it's contagious.  He is Mr. Adventure and wants to try new stuff all the time, not afraid of anything.  He's going to definitely be our daredevil, that's for sure!  He wants to do everything on his own-get dressed, brush his teeth, put his socks on, go potty by himself.  It's neat to watch him want to become independent in those ways, but also hard as we know our little baby is growing up.  I want him to stay little just a little longer, but I know that's not possible!  It's just hard to let go of that and accept sometimes that he is growing up.  It's definitely too fast.  Aiden-we love you sweet boy.  You light up our world for all of us in so many ways!
