New things on the horizon for the Koziatek family
I just realized it's been a while since we posted. Sorry about that. Life has been busy as usual. There are some big changes in store for our family that have happened recently that we are really excited about. Jeff has been really feeling a call for a while now to focus on Christian entertainment more. So he has been working recently to close his current company and open a new company that will allow him to pursue his passions. We really have felt God leading us in this direction for a while. And I am so excited to see where God takes us. As with any opening of a company-it's a little nervewracking wondering if it will succeed and where it will go. But we both have a peace and excitement about this new direction and completely trust God to guide us as He already has. We are truly blessed by all that He has given our family. And to my amazing husband-I am so proud of you, excited for you, and honored to be walking by your side through our journey of life together. Can't wait to see where this new chapter in our journey takes us. I love you Jeff!!
Bumper pads
So I get that they don't want you to put bumper pads in a crib anymore. But man it's annoying sometimes. Cale is regularly getting his one of his legs stuck between the posts of the crib (to the point that he can't pull it out, so it wakes him up and we have to go move him) and pacifiers are on the floor constantly! It's amazing how things change-when I was a kid, bumper pads weren't even talked about.

Please go to this site and pray for baby Stellan. I have had him on our blog before and he was doing better, but is not doing well at all right now. PRAY HARD!

Botanical Gardens
The weather here in St. Louis this weekend has been amazing! In the 70's for the middle of July, I'll take that any day. We decided to head to the Botanical Gardens Saturday morning to enjoy the weather and to try out our BOB stroller that Andy got us for Christmas. We loved the stroller and really enjoyed our time together as a family.

Bible reading
So my walk with God is not always up or always happy or always where I am seeking Him-I have peaks and valleys, just like life does, times where I cling to him with all my might and times where I just want to do things on my own. And to be honest with you, these past month or so I have just been complacent with my relationship with Him and wanting to just live life by myself. I am in a Bible study this summer with some girls and we are reading a book entitled "Objects of His Affection." God has really been calling me to a deeper relationship with him. I truly do believe in Him and believe Jesus died on the cross and have accepted Him as my personal Lord and savior, but I do long to know Him on a deeper level. I think sometimes that my faith is surface level-yes I pray, yes I believe, yes I want to know Him more, yes I have seen Him guide my life time and time again, but I haven't been to a point where I consistently read His word or just seek to grow more with Him lately. God has been putting it on my heart to read His word. It's so easy for me to spend 20-30 minutes a day blogging or reading email or reading for pleasure and totally not pick up the Bible at all. The Bible is the truth and it's God's word. God wants us to grow to know His truth and in turn grow to know and learn about Him. I am taking baby steps to read His word more. There is such thing in this world as the devil I believe and how am I to combat the devil when he tries to tell me lies in life or tries to tempt me. The word of God is part of the full armor of God. It teaches us about God, His love for us, ways to help live our lives for him and how to love others as Christ loved us. Without it, I don't have much of a defense in this world, and I truly see that. I am starting with the gospels and I know this is a baby step and that I am going to mess up, miss days here and there. But I am fascinated by the stories in Matthew, not that I didn't know a lot of the parables of Jesus, but just all the prophecies from the old testament that were fulfilled and just relearning all that Jesus went through. So please pray for me as I take this journey of getting to know God more-it's a lifelong journey-it will see it's peaks and valleys, but it is a journey just like life and it's an amazing journey. God is real, God is truth, God is love and He longs for a deeper relationship with you and even me-someone who has known Him for a long time yet many times strayed or tried to just do things on my own-a God who always calls me his child, loves me unconditionally, and wants to grow deeper and deeper in our relationship. Thank you God for your unfailing love.
